Beautiful and contemporary, unique to unusual. David Menges designs and builds wood and metal furniture like no other. In his furniture, he enjoys shaping materials into sensuous curves and perfect angles that invite the eye and have a sense of harmony and balance. He enjoys translating his client's functional needs into works of art that compliment and enhance their living environment. His designs draw their inspiration more from the realm of fantasy than from traditional styles.


David grew up north of Chicago in Evanston IL. He relocated to the Twin Cities where he received a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, MN., where he studied Drawing, Sculpture and Furniture Design.


Now he resides with his wife, 2 children and 3 dogs in Golden Valley, MN. Working from his home studio, he continues to design and build one-of-a-kind and limited production pieces.
