| Education and biography | |
| Originally trained as a watercolourist Derek has previously exhibited work at the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art in Wales, the Royal Watercolour Society in London and The Lowry, Manchester. His work was short-listed for the 2007 Celeste Art Prize. Derek Eland has an honours degree in Politics from the University of Durham and is currently studying for an MA in Contemporary Fine Art at the University of Cumbria.
