The site (www.figurepainting.eu) is in the form of a survey or retrospective of paintings dating as far back as the early sixties. The earliest self portraits were painted whilst a student at Bradford on the Graphic Design Course. The next section comprises work completed at the Royal College (London) in the mid sixties. They reflect the 'Hard Edge' saturated colour style of painting begining to emerge on the London Circuit. |
