I was born on December 1st 1947 in Tuscany where I grew up and still live, in the seaside town of Marina di Carrara, surrounded by the white marble quarries and the coastline. My draw to the ceramic art came in my early 40's, I simply joined a small group of local women and learned to love ceramic art.

Fiorella Marsili's artworks can be found in several places in the world: New York, Hilo Hawaii, France, and of course Italy.
Artworks include wall panels (called installazioni), vases, bowls, tiles, and many more. The early work of Fiorella is clearly reflective of his passion for the Japanese "raku" ceramics.
It is, indeed, something that occasionally will appear in recent works as well, perhaps after another experiment with colors and metals.
