I was born in India in 1956. I am the wife of a diplomat in the Indian Foreign Service and have travelled and lived in many countries. |
| About the Artist | |
I started painting about 12 years ago and more or less taught myself. I work in watercolours and acrylics. I love to paint ordinary people in India going about their routine activities. I would describe my work as figurative and semi abstract. |

| I finished my schooloing in New Delhi and did my Masters in English Literature from Delhi University. I also have a degree in Education. I have exhibited in Sri Lanka, New Delhi and Toronto. | |
| Future shows | |
| I had a show in Moscow at the Museum Of Oriental Art.By the end of it the sales were fair as people in Russia expect to pay alot for art. I am now in New Delhi. I held a solo exhibition of my works at the India International Centre 11th - 13th December 2008 and displayed 57 works. |
