I was born in 1956 in Cape Town, South Africa. I left on a cargo ship on my nineteenth birthday. After hitch-hiking around Europe for a while I got in the the professional yachting scene and pursued that for twelve years in the Medditerranean, Caribean and Inland Sea of Japan. Currently, I am a builder of wooden boats and life in the the State of Maine, USA.
About the Artist
I gave up art for thirty years. I have just recently taken it up again and will never quit now. I am exploring different mediums. I make a point of attempting the impossible as a learning tool. I am teaching myself and intend to catch up on that thirty years.
