Born in Ambon, a small city in Indonesian archipelagos
surrounded by pacific ocean with plenty number of
coconut trees. Later on moved to Malang, a city in East
Java, developed during Dutch colonialism era, and once
was planned by well known architect, Thomas Karsten.
A remarkable architecture of this city, old twin school,
which was designed by H.P. Berlage, then became my
topic of thesis before graduated from Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, with degree in architecture.

After spent one year worked as a freelance architect in
Bandung, which is famous for its 'Gedung Sate' architecture,
I then moved to Shanghai and trained as a landscape
designer and architect for four years.

Currently I live and work in Singapore as an architect for ALSOP ARCHITECTS with the multi perspectives in art, urban and landscape design.

Photography is another dimension of my work and
life, which I'd like to improve more than just a hobby or fun. Some of my photos were published in
architecture and design magazine in Shanghai. Since
2005 I started to participate in some national and international photo competition, and won several small awards which help me to better understand
photography in wider aspects.
