| About the Artist |
Acting among languages of art, avoiding ranging them by any hierarchy I’m looking
for the best means of expression enabling me to form the idea of the work the most precise way. Very important factors in the process of creation are for me place, space and area where the new work is to be situated. I belong to the pack of artists who treat the character of the concrete space as one of the essential elements to build substances of the artistic transfer and to create its final visual form.
Since many years, actually since the very beginning of my independent artistic way I am a “transposer” and a “uniter” of things – in the real sense of these words and in the symbolic one as well. In my works I apply ready-mades objects, things being their ”signs” (things-substitutes) and also things prepared entirely invented, deprieved of any relation to the things really existing.
The constituent parts of my works coming out from different regions of art create artistic hybrids. They exist not one next to another but together, also together with space which they “undergo” and “organize” in the same time.
For example, often happens picture is not printed on the piece of paper but directly on the object – on the T-shirt for instance things like candies communicate with TV screens.
The photograph meets wooden “substitute” of the piano etc.
