| About the Artist | |
I paint both landscape and botanical themes alternating between abstract and representational images. My work is inspired by nature’s endless arrangements of line, color and form. I enjoy the spontaneity and the expressionistic process involved in creating abstract images and the freedom to experiment with color and various mediums. The prairie landscapes, foothills, the California valleys and the colorful southwest landscape in New Mexico are some of the locations that have inspired my series of simplified, colorful and flowing compositions. I'm currently working on a new series which includes the adobe style buildings seen in New Mexico. |

| Education and biography | |
| Kerry graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts degree (Sociology) in 1991 and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Visual Communication Design in 1996. Kerry also worked with Environmental Protection for two years as a graphic designer.
