Onayiya (creator of artworks) selectively displays her work in museums, commercial art galleries, restaurants, private collections and libraries. The Fujian Putian Gallery in China recently solicited artworks.

She prefers sable brushes for portraits because they produce smooth textures. Bristle brushes are good for moving large quantities of paint on the canvas.
Elements of her works may be realistic, stylized, or abstract; and, depict objects, people, nature, or events. Mentee, David Reyes, created PlaygroundPop Comicbooks. Patrons support her so that she can do charitable commissions, too. Each February, she debuts new paintings for her Maafa Collection featuring victims of the African American Holocaust. On Resurrection Day, new works are presented from her El Shaddai Collection. She works on her FolkHeArt Collection during the summer. On October 6, each year, edgarallanPoeFolks sponsors "Dinner with the Artist," (the world premiere of a suite of commissioned genre works.)


The artist is widely recognized for her skill as a colorist; and, for creating poignant works.
