| 关于此艺术家 | |
I have been brought up in Hungary, a small, picturesque European country that still today gives a lot of inspiration in my work with its colours, ambience and emotions. I also have spent several years in Switzerland from where I took my admiration of natural beauty. My work always contains elements of the natural environment as part of the universe whether it is in the content or in the material I use. Another source for my art is spirituality. I absorb the surrounding world and take it through an inner maturing process where I transcript the impressions, colours, emotions and shapes into a surreal, dream-like state that I then put down in oil or watercolour. With this transcription my paintings become interactive: with the few transformed visual clues I invite the beholder to enter this dream-like state and project their own world lead by their own personal history and subconscious. |
