|
Luca Giannini was born in Bologna in 1972, where he took his degree in environmental engineering. In 2001 he moved to Rome, and he grew as an artist at the RUFA Rome University of Fine Arts, where he attended the course of painting held by master Tullio de Franco e the course of engraving held by Professor Maria Pina Bentivenga.
From 2004 up to 2005 he settled in Eastern Sicily, where he could borrow the power of light and matter from the artists of the so-called “group of Scicli”. In 2006 he came back to Rome, where he deepens his artistic research expecially on materiality and spirituality in man and nature. He currently lives and works in Rome.

| About the Artist |
Fascinated by the relation between matter and symbol, he focuses his human and artistic project on the recover of the symbolic side of reality, on the syntetic representation of environmental matters, on the research of balance between body and soul, and on the dialogue between the earth and the celestial world. |
