| In his 20s "Illy" discovered that colours, shapes and forms easily came to mind when listening to music. He then went on to train in visualisation and meditation techniques, that enabled him to deepen his understanding of the effects of colour and sound on the mind. This self-taught and full-time artist is a member of The Society of Scottish Artists. Born in Lancashire, and guided by a Scottish school art teacher over 20 years ago, he now lives in the Scottish Borders. In the past year, Illy has exhibited twelve times in the UK and his work has reached as far as Holland. Illy’s is now holding his 3rd solo exhibition. |
