About the Artist

Mamta focuses mainly in experimental work where she incorporates sensitivity with existing technologies as a part of process, generating innovative works that can be defined as art of synthesis. Despite her diversified application of various tools and mediums, the content of her work is nevertheless emotional and reflective. The final artefact of her visualization defines no limit of medium or substrates.

Biography
Mamta Baruah Herland is a painter and a digital artist born in the North Eastern valley of Assam, and have her permant resident in Norway. Her works have been widely exhibited internationally and represented in private, public and corporate collection.
Mamta’s artistic vision is to incorporate sensitivity with existing technologies as part of a process to create works that can be defined as art of synthesis. Despite her diversified application of various tools and mediums, the content of her work is nevertheless emotional and reflective. The final artwork of her visualization defines no limit of medium or substrates.
