About the Artist

Living in Rheinstetten near Karlsruhe since 2002.

From 1970-2008 she has been following a variety of creative activities. Since early childhood, painting has been a creative way of expressing herself.

Since 1970 she has had many single exhibitions throughout Germany.

The exhibition of her oil-painting-series are you in the mood for sax? and her enthusiasm for jazz gave her the impulse to photographically work up the subject of saxophone and jazz.
This project started a development, which continuously results in unforeseen ways and possibilities.

Working as a photo journalist since 1989
1990 started her long-lasting co-operation with the magazine Jazz Podium
She works with festivals and events in Germany and Switzerland.
1989-2002 Photo Journalist at the Montreux Jazz Festival

Since 2003 freelancing in the field of painting, photography and design.

With her project Imagine Jazz Jazz Images she continuously exhibits at jazz festivals. Her pictures are published in jazz magazines and newspapers.
In 2003 her photos appeared in the calendar Women in Jazz Icons, Myths and Legends (Edition Ebersbach/Germany)
Design of CD covers and portaits of musicians.

Since 2004 she has been working also on fractals and digital art.

2005 she started to design her collection of arts on walls and bags. This project combines art and all-days-items, such as tarpaulin bags.
