I was born on Friday the 13th of July, in The Hague, Holland. Graduated as Monumental Artist and then strayed: I was a waitress, a DJ, an executive searcher, a marketing manager, a teacher and a sailor - but I always returned to painting... in 2000 I finally settled -in an old farm in the South of France where I am now finally a full time artist. |

I make large size transparent abstract aquarelle watercolours for fun. Watercolours have a will of their own, they drip, flow and dry in a way that you cannot completely control and that's why I like them so much - there's a lot of coincidence in my work, but there is a basic theme of "life's pathways". Every line, ribbon and rag in my work is a symbol of a life, with a start and an end and in between things are happening. |
