| Mark Mcleod |
| |
|
Was born in 1980 in Sumter, SC USA. I recently graduated from Syracuse University with an MFA in Sculpture and am now the Curator for a small contemporary gallery in South Carolina.
 |
| |
| About the Artist |
Although I am trained as a sculptor, my inspirations are drawn from the theatre, humor, and the idea of reality. The gallery space becomes a magical place where created things take on notions of truth. In my most recent work I have been exploring the physical and psychological boundaries in both the real world and the imaginative (the gallery). |

2006 Mixed Various |
|
For my MFA Thesis Exhibition, I used the internet search engine Google to find as many other people with the same name as my own. I then emailed them and asked them to create a sculpture, whatever they though sculpture might be. I then exhibited the works as a collective Mark Mcleod. |
