| About the Artist |
This open space art (white-primed-canvas) clears away the context and opens up the space allowing for a more singular yet essential approach: restrained with an elegant simplicity.
Underscoring an exploration into our perceptions of reality and the nature
Of matter.
By clearing away the context , a new narrative opens a new approach to the subject matter and the viewer’s involvement.
Without an environment, their space intercedes with our space, opening
The picture beyond its canvas frame, into the metaphysical.
They become close up and personal with a vibrancy between the
Subject and viewer to engage within the dynamic
or rest in a world of calm and tranquility.
A moment of shared commonality and shared diversity.

It is with thanks to Ron Oliver, who is well known in the dog handling and Agility derby’s.
A chance meeting with him and his large pack of dogs inspired the making of this work.
Caesar Milan” the Dog whisperer” would be pleased.

This painting is the result of Jamie Oliver’s television programme concerning pork production, home and abroad, with grave concerns on animal welfare standards.
This painting endorses the message with a positive image:
Visually stimulating the necessity for wellbeing in all our farming methods and interactions.
Enabling a greater connectivity with other
Living things.
