Poppies have always been a favourite subject of mine to paint, infact one of my very first sales was of poppies which I sold at one of the local village art group exhibitions many moons ago. I have donated a number of poppy paintings to my local Royal British Legion. These paintings of poppies started as being quite small, but over the years the poppies are getting larger and larger on the canvases and I never tire of painting more of these bright cheerful flowers. I have discovered these lovely flowers come in an array of all sorts of colours. Hope you will enjoy my work shown here as much as I enjoyed painting this.
