| About the Artist |
Munazza is a Painter and Printmaker. Most of her work is based on vivid “Memories”. Memory is dependent of any unity of time and place. She takes aspiration from short term, long term, perennial, and auditory memories. Some times she uses semiotics in my narrative work to create another dimension. The “human psychology”, simultaneity of different time of frames is present in her work. She works innumerous themes, She silently conversation with simplicity. Also she always tries to search Philosophical aspect in her work. Her work is a fusion between figurative and abstract way of observing her surroundings. She tries to do complex overlapping of images, time, and movement through space. Her work has a strong connection between space and time. Especially she overlaps many images/reflections to create multidimensional layers. We can feel the smoothness and transparency in a deep manner. Her unique artistic style gives an understanding of significance of particular ideas regarding her vivid memories and nostalgia. Also she is getting involve in dreams. She tries to capture sensitive “reflections of memory” that people normally ignore. Also she is using the past serious issues (from history). By focusing on the mental, emotional, and physical grounds we all share in our society. She opens this window in her work, which gives broad meaning to her thoughts. It takes the viewers from one frame to another time frame. |
