Naomi Renouf

About the Artist

I have enjoyed painting and stitching since I was a child. When I was younger I worked mostly with watercolour or acrylic but for the last few years textiles have dominated. A wide range of my textile work can be seen on my website. Since the beginning of 2007 I have started to paint again. The sea, sky and landscape of the island where I live provide a constant source of inspiration for my work. I also get inspiration from other places that I travel to, the materials that I work with and sometimes significant events.

Les Echrehoes
This is a reef of rocks about nine miles south of Jersey. At high tide there are just a few tiny islands above the water. At low tide because of the huge tidal range quite a large area is exposed.
