january 16, 1972 - california. i grew up in hawaii, but my art is generally known from when i moved back to san francisco and used it on the flyers that promoted my 'undergrounds' and on the covers to the house, reggae, and techno music productions i released. |

i never went to art school, i have just been painting since about 3 years old. i get my colors from the amazing colors that grace the big island of hawaii, and the jet black lava fields that cut through the middle of these jungles. i also gain a lot of inspiration from the mountains that drop into the sea north of the golden gate bridge in west marin. |
