| About the Artist | |
Inspired by the way light defines form, my art is a statement about creating three-dimensionality in a representational yet expressive way. With that intent my images depart from formal classical realism but are nonetheless based on that solid foundation. It is also about the handling of the medium, whether oil or pastel, that characterizes that difference: that is always the main thrust of the painting, a celebration of the surface appearance of the pigment! |
