| About the Artist | |
My work is inspired by my own life. Like they say, "Write what you know". I paint what I know. Most of my work is about my early childhood experiences with having a growth disorder. I developed early and reached adult maturation by the time I was in the third grade. My life has given me the opportunity to view life from a very different perspective. My work often featured the idea of what is normal vs. abnormal. I work mostly in oil pastel, collage and acrylic. |

| Education and biography | |
| I graduated from the American Academy of Art in 1992 with an Associate Degree in graphic arts. I was an illustration major. I have also studied Faux Finishing at the Decorate School of Arts in St. Louis. I currently live in Chicago and have shown at many promoninent Chicago galleries such as Woman Made Gallery, David Leonardis, and Gallery 312. I have also shown my work in New York City, Washington D.C., L.A. and even Ljubljana, Slovenia. | |
