| About the Artist |
Colour, picture construction and composition have been major preoccupations in all my work.
My Paintings have moved back and forth, over the years, between figurative and abstract themes, with influences of Constructivism, Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art showing in the work.
Fashion Illustration has been another strong outlet for my creativity and in recent years I have been combining the stylistic and figurative concerns of Fashion Illustration with the broader fine art perspective; to create a kind of art, which hopefully catches the eye of a modern media user but satisfies the need to linger and contemplate associated with the function of painting.
