| Paul Wilson | |
I was born in Manchester in 1950, I attended Oldham and Stockport Art Colleges. I helped to form the Embryo Group in 1970 which consisted of a collective goup of painters, sculptors and poets. I abandoned painting in pursuit of a career in design, raising a family and rock climbing. I rediscovered painting in the late 1990's. |

Just stand one evening on the foot bridge that takes the penine way across the M62 motorway near junction 22. Behind you the sweeping road cuts its way through the moors on it's way to Bradford and Leeds. In front of you the lights of cars and trucks, and in the distance....Oldham, Rochdale and Manchester. |
