| About the Artist |
I began painting in oils while living in Ireland. Before coming to Naples in 2005 I took classes for two years with Una Baker, exhibiting with her class in Harrow and selling from that show. Colour is as intoxicating as chocolate or alcohol - I love the paintings of Matisse, Bonnard and Hodgkin and miss the London galleries. Naples does provide some intense bursts of colour in the blue bay, the street markets and the outrageous fashions. |
