| Part of the Sports Series, is the third timber piece I ever made. Ana Maria Pacheco inspired me to get a chainsaw. I did and risk life and limb but I learned to carve with the monster. The painted timber responds, I suppose, to a Spanish - Latin-American tradition of painted religious images. |
