Sally Smith was born providentially outside the gates of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire England. Raised in picturesque Burford she soon married and proceeded as a young women to renovate & restore heritage cottages. Many years later Sally and her partner migrated with their two children to Australia. Sally, soon after arriving, commenced the Study of Art & Design at Perth Technical College, majoring in Studio Ceramics. She furthered these studies in the early nineties at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia, with the study of fine art, majoring this time in Textiles & Design. Whilst continuing these pursuits, raising another child and opening her own floristry business, Sally began to explore her creative potential further and discovered a great love for painting. |
