The characters of SarahO dance. They dance simply because they exist, because the slightest breeze makes them turn.

They are weather vanes on their metal rods, flat sculptures to hang on a wall … Sometimes folded, always painted. Because colour is a fundamental to the work of art. Paint and collage are materials which have as much importance as the metal support they are on.

Men, women, children, mythical creatures, they often come in pairs. Sarah O. expresses with tenderness the triumphant gesture, the meeting of a lifetime, a dialogue. She extracts from the hard iron the lightness of movement and breeds intense and delicate beings from the thick metal as if she were cutting out a silhouette from paper.
