Date of Birth: 21-09-1979
Place of Birth: Taipei
Nationality: Taiwanese
Short Introduction: I am currently an art student at Chelsea College. I already have a degree in social anthropology at home, but decided to take art as my career instead of being an anthropologist in Taiwan. I chose London as the best location to explore and develop my art, which I first learnt at the foot of my teacher in Taiwan at weekends. I have applied myself to painting, inspired by the capitals huge wealth of art, new and old, to explore differences and distance. I hope I will be able to bring my work to the heart of London, and the heart of London to my work.

| About the Artist |
My paintings are often largely figurative, containing fragmented images of the human body, suggesting a somewhat oblique view of sexuality. The broken images, culled from magazines, are self-consciously borrowed images that simultaneously acknowledge the easy appeal of post-modernist relativism, while mocking its inability to explain what makes us tick. |
