| This is a ramshackle little cottage built at the edge of a cliff. It is a hut of a poor farmer, there is no electricity or any amenity.
What caught my attention was the way it seems as if the house itself is hanging! And Living on the Edge! |

| This cheetal (Indian Deer) was at an unusual watchpost when I chanced upon it one morning in January 2000. I just managed to click a picture with my Nikon and then I quietly walked away without disturning this beautiful animal.
6 years later, I have made an Oil painting of it. And this is my first attempt at painting wildlife. I am normally a landscape artist

| Education and biography | |
| I am a Postgrad in Communication & Journalism. Worked in the advertising industry for 20 years, as a copywriter. Art has been entirely self taught. I never had an opportunity to even get private lessons in Art! In tandem with my decision to leave my past career behind, and get involved completely in Art, I founded SAMKRUT Art School & Gallery in Bangalore in order to offer an opportunity to several art enthusiasts who would love to do Art, but have no access to a Teacher or have the time for it. |
