| Skip Bleecker |

I was born in Michigan, USA, the oldest of five.
I have lived most of my life in Michigan, plus a year each in Texas, and California, and two years in Anchorage, Alaska while in the U.S. Air Force.
I have visited near by Ontario, Canada many times while growing up as well as later as an adult.
I also spent 8 months in Europe after I got out of the Air Force, living and working mostly in Germany, Holland, Luxembourg, Scotland and England.

| About the Artist |
Most of my work consists of wheel thrown porcelain forms based on organic patterns of microscopic and macroscopic organisms.
Some are based on seed pods, teeth, pollen, sea animals, squash, and even watermelon, but as the development proceeds, they merge and take on new forms of possible and imaginary organisms.
All are hand made, one of a kind pieces, usually done in a series, so there might be some similarity among some pieces, but no two are ever exactly alike. |
