I was born in 1961. I live and work in Malta but have travelled extensivley to Europe and Asia. In 1998-2001 I graduated in History of Art and Communication from the University of Malta and since then have been working working as a freelance art director. |

I find that abstract painting allows me to express my essence and energy; it is the silencing of logic and rationality through which the true spirit emerges. Rather than describing the works content I prefer to impress the viewer by challenging their senses, both tactile and visual. There is no specific narrative content. My intention is to create a mood or evoke an emotional response rather than to communicate a specific message or rational idea. |
