| About the Artist |
My art is not personal in the sense of being introspective, but it certainly is subjective. Irony and levity characterize my work. In fact, if I could draw I’d probably be a cartoonist. Instead, I employ dimensional materials in my constructions including fiber, metal, wood, ceramics and found as well as recycled objects. I also work with conventional and digital photography. As a conceptual artist, I relate more to content than form, and as a sculptor, I favor realism over abstraction and generally work in life size or larger. |
