Born in the USA in 1963, Taylor Anne Smith began eating dirt by the age of three. On her sixth birthday she was crossed with seaweed and stars by mermaids. She paints every day as a direct result of this. |

Taylor Anne Smith has been creating art in oil, acrylic, wine, coffee and gouache since 1986. Inspired by the sentiment of 20th century expressionists Pollock, Dubuffet, Leger, Mondrian and Rothko but carrying a distinct through-line of her own inner progress, Taylor continues to express universal truths through her unique canvases. |
