b. 1979, Pennsylvania I was raised on Blues and Rock and Roll and developed a later interest in ambient music. It wasn't until my first years in college I got involved in the contemporary art world. At the University of Pittsburgh I got into the ideas surrounding contemporary abstract painting and the possibilities of what the both artist and viewer can experience when confronted with something that is foreign, or in taking a detail of something that is common and puting it in a new context.

| 关于此艺术家 |
I am inspired by the offset (economic, social and psychological) of post-industrial society. I am interested in how societies and people, over 4 generations from the industrial revolution cope with(out) the prospects of their great grandparents. I find this interesting, but at the same time grim and depressive. I reach into that and start working. My music is themed as "Background Music for the Worldmachine." My visual art attempts to illustrate that. |
