| About the Artist | |
I get inspired by relations and differences and the patterns we all create every day. In my painting I often use schemes and (figures) numbers as base. Seeing quite more life and character in numbers, than, I use them instead of bodies to paint portraits. Creating groups or "families" of numbers they start to exist in a more living way. |

| From the series "Alchemie". Inspired by an old arabic chess riddle called "The Knights Round", where the knight must visit every field of an empty chess board once. In this case the knight also finishes its round where he started. To solve the riddle I used lines and numbers which explains the materia.
To me, it symbolizes striving or simply the course of life. |
