Trish Booth

About the Artist

Representational yet surreal, Booth's paintings inhabit a twilight zone between reality and imagination. She employs vernacular and historic architecture and deserted landscapes to convey isolation and otherness. Abstracting the images to various degrees further incorporates a sense of mystery, allowing them to read as symbolic structures--as portals or refuges.
