Younes was born in 1986 in Oujda, in Morocco but has lived in Nantes, France, since an early age, where he was introduced to the artistic creation by Ryc’ho Swierad Ryszard, a Polish artist. Graduated in Art at the Fine Art School of Strasbourg. Plastics technician and musician, he develop an artistic work around the sound material and around its conditioning. |
| About the Artist | |
In his work, Younes try to integrate the visitor into the artistic process, asserting that without him, the work cannot exist. He is not more that a simple visitor, he is invited to concern a new glance that it in already seen, by questioning him about his rights with regard to the work, by preventing him from locking itself into its customs. Younes, use the sound for its capacity to propagate in the space and to integrate the body of the visitor by bringing its notion of temporality and a feeling of report integrated into the process of creation. |
