To pinpoint which event or episodes led me to call myself an artist is difficult to do since there is no certificate or license to practice art; I can’t think of any milestone moments that made me decide to create. However, having been brought up in the very materialistic, over-stimulating world of Pop Culture, I think it was inevitable that I would be influenced by the style and images of that time. Television shows, music, and all other forms of media played role of my desire to become more than ordinary. At least those things led me to be creative. As I can remember, I always drew and painted. I used to copy characters from cartoons or photos in the magazines.

In recent years, it became clear to me that purpose of my painting should convey a sense of retreat. Just as we need to get away from busyness of world, I wanted to bring the feeling of retreat into my paintings.

My process of painting is rather orthodox. I prefer to paint on wood as I enjoy its hard surface. Generally I like all kinds of medium, but acrylic has always been available and I like its fast drying time on surfaces.

I've also done some experimental work on digital images.

I’ve done few commissioned paintings, shown at various places, and won awards in the past.

I always thought of painting as a growing process.
