These works are created intuitively, without source material, or a clear idea of how the finished painting will look. Ranging from minimal images to more complex 'landscapes' of paint that are built up slowly over time. Inspiration is found in haphazard marks found on floors, walls, paletts etc; indicators of some other human activity which form their own organic aesthetic. |
