Holyoke College, Smith College, Amherst College, U. of Massachusetts. Teaching Fellow, Tulane University; Teaching Supervisor (10 TA’s for Professor Vincent Scully), Yale University. Art Consultant, American Crayon Co. and Dixon Crucible Co. (Rockefeller Center and Jersey City). Curator, Berney-Bailey Collection, Mexican Graphics section sold at Christie’s NYC, 1993, Cat. #7786. Principal Investigator-General editor[1978-1986], Handbook of Latin American Art (ABC-Clio, Santa Barbara), 3 volumes, 1986. Funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities with Research Centers in Resistencia, Argentina; Mexico City; Central America; Brazil and Austin/San Antonio, Texas. | 2009 UPDATE: The Salem High School Alumni Association (OHIO) selected Bailey as Alumnus of the Year 2009 as a contemporary visual artist and scholar of Latin American Art. Bailey was invited to participate in the Yale History of Art Conference, April, 2009, to commemorate the opening of the new Art Complex at Yale University, including the Loria Center for the History of Art and the Robert B. Haas Family Arts Library. The original Art & Architecture building designed by Paul Rudolph was restored in this Complex. Her brief biography is included in "Art's Histories Yale," 68pp. by Elizabeth Teare. 2008: Solo-"Intimate Whispers," Botero Galleries, Naples,FL [April] Exhibit & Book signing.Curator: Kathy Botero. Group-"Art Envisions Science," N.Y.
