Much of my work is informed by life in London and reflects the character and mood of the capital's east end. Some of the work seeks to mirror the experience of change in British Asian society from the radical politics of the late 1970's and early '80s to the often internalised dynamics and anxieties of contemporary social and family structures, amongst other themes

| About the Artist |
I trained as a painter and printmaker at Winchester School of Art and use a variety of forms and mediums. These include large scale triptychs in oil on canvas, small scale miniature paintings in gouache on vellum or paper, watercolours and oil on ceramic. I also work with linocut, etching and other relief or intaglio printmaking techniques amongst a variety of other mediums. |
