Mara Stamatovski
 

Mara Stamatovski was born in Sibenik on April 18th 1955.
She has practiced the trade and art of painting since her early youth. She professes the ease of the painters trade and the unpretentious gift of becoming an artist wherever and whenever she can.

About the Artist

Mara Stamatovski designs, handcrafts and paints unique pieces of furniture, protracting thus the Serbian tradition of painted urban furniture. Mara Stamatovski lives with her paintings.


Most recent of her many one-man and group exhibitions are:

• One-man show in Obrenovac , 2003. under the name - "House of Paintings"
• Exclusive one-man show at Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, January 2004. under the name - "House
of Paintings"
• Group show at the University "Braca Stamenkovic" called "Portrait Through Time" in 2004.
• Group show at the University "Braca Stamenkovic" called "Portrait Through Time" in 2005.
• Group show in Obrenovac at Gallery "ULUM", febraury 2006.
• Digital photography show in Obrenovac at Gallery "ULUM", october 2006.
