| About the Artist | |
My work is about my journey. I grew up on a sea port and in the shadow of Mount Taranaki on the wild west coast of the North Island and now work in Nelson in the South Island. My landscapes reflect the dramatic character of my birth-place as well as drawing on wider Pacific influences. When not working in oils I experiment with a variety of mixed media looking at texture form and colour using a multitude of layers of metal paint and patina oxidization to achieve the final "look". |

| Graduated from the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology in 1999 with a Diploma in Visual Arts majoring in painting. Working member of both the Nelson Suter and The Marlborough Arts Society. Member of the Fine Arts Academy Wellinton. Too many exhibition to mention them all, but here are some of them.
