Art School in Oldham and Manchester followed by two years as a textile designer, later by chance into model making and special effects for television and films, always painting, always painting.
Exhibitions both in-group and one man shows in England and France, Sensitive to all around him, he explores volume, perspective, structure through diverse mediums and supports ( Oils Acrylics,
Industrial paints, also plastics and metals. He thinks artists ought to be free to explore all mediums. For example he is also a decorator for museums and exhibitions, he likes to specialize in Trompe l?Oeil special effects and sculpture. Some of his works include collage using plastics, resins, metals and paint. He has lived for the last 30 years in the Gard region of France where he finds most of his inspiration in everyday objects and life around him, creating atmospheres, moments in time with humor and a wry look at life. He is greatly influenced by early 16th century Spanish painters of still life such as Melendez and Sanchez ?Cotan.
His latest work takes us to the very edge of Still Life and Contemporary painting to relive with humor, which he likes to call ? Living Life?.
