Alfora - Chris Alford

About the Artist

Alforas work was inspired by the Turner paintings at the Tate Gallery in London and the Turner influence is marked. As a Fine Art specialism he majored in printmaking later moving on to painting with a pallete based on Delacoix and Rembrandt. Earlier paintings show a clear affinity with John Piper. The most recent work developed out of these influences and has moved more towards abstract expressionism.
