Born in Buckinghamshire, England in 1970 I have always been an artist! I moved to London when I finished my Foundation Course to study art at the University of Westminster, spent a few more years in London and then moved to the Sussex coast, where I still live. |
| About the Artist | |
My artwork is inspired by my love of landscape, nature, travel, mythological tales, folkore and history, themes which reoccur throughout my work. I studied illustration and narrative painting at university and this has strongly influenced my work - I like each piece to tell a story - if you look closely at most of my work there are significant little details here and there. I love colour and light. I paint in acrylic and/or oils combined with metal leaf, powders and glitter; watercolour, mixed media, work in mosaic and am also a photographer. |
