| About the Artist |
I am currently working in two metaphorical spaces.
The first is a series of sculptures called the Ashford Stonefield. These sculptures are inspired by the practice of bombing indefensible nations into the stone age. The elements that I work with are hand dug stone, gravity, time, and nature's inevitable intervention.
The second series of work are watercolors and acrylic paintings that are now exploring post Abstract Expressionist surrealism. Using the techniques and Abstract Expressionist patterns of my training, I am revisiting representational dreamscapes and the artifacts of subliminal consciousness.
